Topic:Moving up the Cloud Stack: The future of PaaS

Abstract: While Infrastructure Clouds have been the catalyst for the cloud revolution, it will be PaaS solutions that will drive the next generation of cloud-computing. Gartner estimates worldwide PaaS revenues to be $700M in 2011, a market that will continue to grow and expand rapidly in the coming years. PaaS solutions will focus on providing value from cloud-computing where it matters most, i.e.; customer applications. This session will talk about where PaaS fits in the cloud ecosystem today, characteristics and benefits of PaaS solutions, example use-cases and how PaaS can potentially shape the future of the Cloud.
