Abstract : Enterprises adopting cloud applications (such as Salesforce, Google Apps, Workday, etc.) are looking for tie-ing authentication to these applications with their Enterprise user repositories such as Active Directory. Since, these applications reside on the internet, they are also looking for assurance through stronger methods of authentication such as One Time Password (OTP). In addition, they want to ensure that once an employee is terminated, they can no longer access any of the Enterprise cloud applications containing business data. This session will cover mechanisms to solve these problems and industry trends in this space.
Bio : Vikas Jain is Director of Product Management at Intel for Cloud Identity and Security products. Prior to Intel, he held leadership roles in product management and software development over the last 15 years at a wide-range of technology companies including Oracle, Oblix, Wipro and Infosys. He has a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, India. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family.
